We have 78 cards in a tarot card deck. 22 cards are called major arcana, they are considered the core of the foundation, meaning the spiritual lessons we have to understand, the karma of your life. The 56 minor arcana cards reflect the trials and tribulations we experience in daily life. The minor arcana have 4 different suits and they represent 4 different elements. The suit of wands, associated with fire, meaning energy, strength, determination, and more. The suit of cups, associated with water, meaning emotions, relationships, the core of your heart. The suit of swords, associated with air, meaning action, power, justice, conflict. The suit of pentacles, associated with earth, meaning material things, work, career. This is just a small introduction into the tarot cards.
